Your love…

It has truly been amazing to see the outflow of love, via messages, phone calls and visits over the past week. While Dad’s health continues to decline, these gestures definitely lift his spirit.

Hearing or reading the wonderful impacts he’s had on others is humbling to me. But to be honest, witnessing his humility and sometimes surprise as he receives these messages, reinforces to me how unassuming he’s been his whole life. Having a positive impact is instinctive for him – so instinctive it seems effortless, and oftentimes, he may not even realize he had an impact until someone tells him. We’ve been blessed to have his example.

Keep the messages, calls and visits coming. Thank you so much for your continued love, prayers and support.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

  1. You speak of your Dad not knowing the impact he has made on someone. Let me give you an example. While your parents were serving Mt Zion he and your Mom offered an Marriage enrichment class that lasted 6 weeks. It was what Larry and I needed. What they both taught us and showed us has been a great blessing in our married life. He truly is a man of God and we have been so fortunate to have had him and your Mom walk thru our lives. We will continue to pray for Tom and his family as we know these are hard days. Please know that we love you all.
